Harvested in multiple passes through the vineyard, the ripest berries are selected to be put into the fruttaio for 3 months to slowly dry. Aged in French oak for up to 5 years, this rich, full-bodied dry red has dark fruit and sweet spice aromas with cocoa. Pair with braised lamb with dried fruit.

The red Corvina grape (a.k.a. Corvina Veronese) is the most widely planted grape in Italy's Valpolicella and Bardolino regions. In recent years, it has gained momentum as the best grape for making Amarone.
