Wild Common Blanco Tequila

750 mL
Item # 51466

If you ever wondered whether all the different labels made under that same roof, a common practice in tequila, were essentially the same spirit in different clothes, or if the master distillers didn't approach each project with the same level of seriousness as their own brands - then this tequila will answer any doubts. Made at the legendary multi generation family operated distillery founded in 1904, Cascahuin is universally regarded as one of the greatest addresses in all of tequila. Made in partnership with the current generation's Master Distiller Salvador Rosales Trejo, loving known as 'Chava' the only thing wrong with this tequila is that it risks out-shining the distillery's own brand.

Staff Pick Notes

The story of Wild Common Tequila begins with Andy Bardon, a National Geographic photographer and adventurer. While shooting photos in Jalisco, Mexico, Andy met with the Rosales family, who has owned and operated Cascahuín since 1904, with traditions dating back even further. Together they have joined forces and built a tequila brand, that is committed to tradition methods and zero additives. A purity of Agave, cooked and developed is apparent. A long and complex sip trending towards eucalyptus and fresh cactus notes. The distinct mineral quality shines through this spirit, like wet stones from a natural spring. Earthen notes of black pepper and flint rock bring even more complexity to this outstanding Blanco Tequila.
